Hair Follicle Pillow-Gross or Awesome?

No question this looks beautiful at a glance. It also looks well made and as it's description says it's scientifically accurate. But is it also gross? I can't decide.
I kind of really like it, but something about this diagram brings to mind to every diagram you've ever seen of a filled up sebaceous gland (ask your parents). Then I just remember scab and puss monster stories from waiting in line after lunch in 2nt grade.
Help me out here. It's cool right?
Then there is pretty much no question that the finger cross section creeps me out because the existence of under the fingernail is one of the few things that makes me squeamish (ow ow ow ow ow). But wouldn't they look great together?
At least we can all love this without any icky feelings coming up.
However we feel we should all thank MyWifeYourWife for making the world of throw pillows a little more exciting.

Doll hater? Me too. But these doll head cups are awesome.

I've never been into dolls. Even when I was little it was all about stuffed animals. I'm so not into dolls that I keep wanting to spell dolls like dools. That's not the spelling instinct of a doll lover, or someone who can spell. Naturally doll stuff doesn't do it for me. But I love, love, love these cups.
They're perfect. They even come in a pretty tiny box.
And I assume with this pretty severed hand.
Well done Natalia Gruszecka of endesign.

As long as we're on dolls, I found these in a consignment store in Prescott, AZ. They were surrounded by normal human dolls. WHAT IS GOING ON?

Everything can be a Ukulele

Playing the Ukulele is something I have always intended to do. I have so far miserably failed at this. The first step away from utter failure and towards success at anything these days is a good google. So here is Etsy's answer to my shortcoming.

Does ukuleleing get better than this?
How cool are these!??
http://www.etsy.com/shop/celentanowoodworks is the shop. Paul Celentano is the mad genius. He says
"What Would Your Dream Instrument Look Like? All designs can be made into a ukulele, guitar, bass, mandolin, and more. Contact me for estimate."

The Incredibly Exciting and Dangerous World of Drawer Pulls

We all have drawers to open. You might as well admit it. No one who's anyone keeps their skeletons in closets anymore. Dressers, chifferobes, cabinets and buffets are where it's at.
"But how are we supposed to open these fancy boxes to get to our stuff? Telekinesis?"
No. But enjoy that terrible website. And if you know where those people live feel free to let your dog poop on their lawn and not pick it up. They can remove it with their minds.
Getting to your stuff can be accomplished through knobs.

Etsy has a wide variety.

Michael R Doyle Mrd74 does amazing work in metal with bird skulls and other bits of natural history.

For the more geographically minded Sherry Truitt Studios has these map drawer pulls. Maybe they would be particularly good to pull open the drawers of your map collection.

Monkey Shines has a variety of cool natural history inspired pulls with a clean modern look.

Da Rosa has these awesome Star Wars little guys.
Black Turtle Metals makes all kinds of beautiful accessories for your house.

Dreamery Studio does neat natural history inspired things with drawer pulls and printing on old book pages.

Shimrita makes awesome and ridiculous cupcakes. Don't eat them.

If you can't open your drawers after this then give telekinesis another try.
